Purpose
These terms of service (ToS) govern the use of the ProxyMarket platform, accessible at proxymarket.be. By using our platform, you accept these terms in their entirety.
Platform access
Access to ProxyMarket is free. An account is required to access certain features (buying, selling, messaging). You must be at least 18 years old to create a seller account.
Services offered
ProxyMarket offers the following services:
- Online store creation for sellers
- Product publication and management
- Local event publication
- User messaging
- Producer discovery by geolocation
User obligations
All users
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Comply with applicable laws
- Respect other users and not publish illegal content
Sellers
- Sign and respect the ProxyMarket traceability charter
- Sell only local products whose origin is verifiable
- Have the legal authorizations to carry out their activity
- Guarantee the quality and compliance of products sold
Traceability charter
All sellers must sign the ProxyMarket traceability charter. This charter guarantees that products sold are of local origin and that their traceability can be proven. The sale of mass-imported products or products of dubious origin is strictly prohibited. Non-compliance with this charter results in account suspension or deletion.
Pricing
First year: no subscription, commission on sales only. Then: subscription adapted to cost of living (€5/month Africa, €15/month Europe) + commission. Prices are communicated transparently before any commitment.
Liability
ProxyMarket acts as a technical intermediary and is not a party to transactions between sellers and buyers. We do not guarantee the quality of products sold but commit to enforcing the traceability charter. In case of dispute, we encourage dialogue between parties and can intervene as mediator.
Intellectual property
The ProxyMarket platform, its design, code and content are protected by copyright. Sellers retain intellectual property of their content (photos, descriptions) but grant ProxyMarket a license to use for display on the platform.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time, without fees or justification. ProxyMarket may suspend or delete an account in case of violation of ToS or traceability charter, after notification.
ToS modification
ProxyMarket reserves the right to modify these ToS. Users will be notified by email of any significant modification. Continued use of the platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Applicable law
These ToS are subject to Belgian law. In case of dispute, Belgian courts will have jurisdiction.
